Hope has lived in Kitsap County almost all of her life and grew up on her family's hobby farm raising primarily goats and sheep. She was very active in 4-H growing up where she showed both rabbits and goats. Later on, she joined the South Kitsap FFA Chapter where she raised market lambs and hogs as well as being the Vice President. She was a part of the Vet Science CDE Team for FFA where she discovered her passion for becoming a large animal vet. She spends her free time knitting as well as playing her instruments, the clarinet and oboe.
